Partner & Chief Operating Officer

I’ve always believed that personal finance is one of those things you either choose to learn on your own or risk never understanding. It's not exactly taught in school, like algebra or dissecting frogs. My journey into finance started when I was an engineering student at Texas A&M with a minor in Business. During my junior year, I took a finance class and, to my surprise, I was instantly captivated by it, so much so that I swapped an engineering internship for one in finance that summer. (Yes, I did finish the engineering degree, which may have helped with a few home DIY projects here and there!) Now, with over 15 years of experience, I've remained dedicated to my mission of helping people understand the ins and outs of personal finance.

I love being a strategic, reliable, and innovative partner, making complex topics a bit more digestible and hopefully less scary. My goal is to be a guide who not only understands your challenges but also works alongside you for long-term success.

My passion for helping people was shaped by my upbringing in the small town of Canadian in the Texas Panhandle, where the values of community and connection were a way of life — and I get to call myself Canadian without ever having to brave a Canadian winter! I’m deeply rooted in family, faith, and a commitment to my clients. My wife, Kenzie, and I are proud parents to Hayden, our son, and Averie, our daughter. Our family also includes two lively Labs, Maggie and Bella, who keep things interesting.

When I'm not talking numbers, you’ll likely find me enjoying anything outdoors, cheering on Aggie sports, or at one of Hayden's baseball games or Averie's gymnastics, dance, and volleyball events. Life is busy, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.
